Sonus BC183L Silicon Fuzz

The BC183L with '68 original circuitry. Actually this is the transistor that directly replaced the NKT275 germanium transistors in 1968 prompting Dallas-Arbiter to redesign the PCB for the different pin-out order of the transistors. I can see why they chose this particular transistor to replace the NKT275 as it is really smooth for the usually more edgy sounding silicons.
Features:
  • Exact replica Arbiter England Issue 2 board.
  • Silicon BC183L transistors
  • 60s Bradley resistors
  • NOS Philips capacitors
  • Battery / DC adapter operated
  • Switchcraft jacks
  • Alpha pots
  • True bypass
